Gilbert Arenas recently said he wants to play for a team that is serious about winning a championship.

What the hell is he thinking, he's the star player on the Wizards!

If he can't get it done, that should be a major indicator of his capacity. Why do NBA players always blame their management instead of looking at themselves or their performance? Why do idiots like Gary Payton, Karl Malone and Kevin Garnett believe they have the right to hop from team-to-team hoping to win a championship off someone else's back?

Real championship players win with any team they go to, like Shaq. Gary Payton...good player...but he only won a championship riding the Shaq-train...I don't respect that!

Your main goal when you play is to win the NBA Championship, so unfortunately players feel that they can keep changing teams until they are on one that can win. Thats why you must have more respect for players like Shaq who will go anywhere and still win

Entitled? Where do you get that? He said he "WANTS" to play for a title contender, not, he should be placed on a title contender, there's a difference. What's wrong with wanting to WIN a title?

There have been scores of great players and great teams that have never won a ring, and that doesn't necessarily make them less of a player, it only means that for some reason the chemistry of the team wasn't right or there was simply a better team and that team won.

Why do teams blame management? You ever hear of the LA Clippers? Only recently has the team even been competitive. The owner didn't want to spend any money, he let top picks get away after playing out their contracts because he wasn't serious about winning. One player can't win a title by himself.

Karl Malone, KG idiots? Malone played his whole career with Utah. They came close to winning it, but couldn't get pass Chicago. He takes one more shot with the Lakers and he's an idiot? KG has played 11 years (his whole career) with Minnesota, he doesn't have a lot of years left and MN isn't going to take a title with that supporting cast. So he shouldn't move after a DECADE?

You call Payton an idiot and a champion in the same breath? What RU smokin'? Payton FINALLY got his ring after 16 years in the NBA and only then as a part time player.

And Shaq? Shaq would have NO titles without Kobe in LA and Dwyane Wade. Wade CARRIED Shaq in the playoffs...He couldn't get it done in Orlando and even he moved to a new team..

Face it, you're either ignorant or you're trying to piss people off by talking smack....

Actually he was riding the Flash train. But to the point. Yes they should try to bring a championship to their current team instead of demanding trade and stuff. Signing in free agency is a different thing though. If they want to sign with a better team that's their buisness. But they should play out their current contract instead of demanding trades.

I know exactly what you mean. Stephon Marbury calls himself the "best point gaurd in the league" and blames Larry Brown for everything. If he was so great, he could carry the team on his own and get it done. I hate when they make such arrogant comments and blame everyone ane their children when they lose. I noticed your nickname was Pistons56. Do you love the Pistons? I am a hardcore Pistons fan so sho' yo spirit! Oh, and I totally agree with you about the whole Miami Heat thing.

THe problem lies in the repetition of the same trophy year in year out. I will explain my friend, nba, nhl, mlb, nfl, they all do this, consequently, those are the only sports you know about. Worldwide they mix it up, take soccer. THere is the league (no playoff), the cup (open elimination), champions league, libertadores, world cup, euro competition. That said, players have more shots at winning
