That was "Out of this World" starring the lovely Maureen Flanagan. The father was voiced by Burt Reynolds.

It was called "Out of This World" and Doug McClure played the alien dad - he died of lung cancer not long ago - can't locate any info on what happened to the gal who played the daughter - sorry
