Allan Bennet is sufficiently famous that I think he will have an entry in "Who's Who" (find this in your local library), which will give a contact address. Otherwise look up the publisher's address in one of his books and ask them. You should expect to be put in touch with Bennett's agent, not the man himself.

Bennett has lived in London's Camden Town for thirty years, and shares his house with his partner of 14 years, Rupert Thomas.
Try going through his publisher.

Contact the Society of Authors ,84 Drayton Gdns London SW10 tel 0207 373 6642 or his publishers, phone and ask for person who deals with him and who would would undertake to forward your letter. NB, get a name!
