Well, I don't know the situation, what year, model, or miles on the vehicle, but you certainly are upset. If you have the owners' manual for the car, in the back of the manual should be a phone number to contact Chrysler. That is the best route to go. You could also ask the Service Manager at your local dealership if you could speak with the Service Rep next time he is at the dealership.
Well, now that I have a little more info, IIRC, Chrysler doesn't offer lifts as an add-on accessory (Let me know if I'm incorrect). Therefore, they will not warranty the lift. They didn't build it or sell it, so they sure aren't going to warranty it! However, if the dealer you bought the vehicle from (New, I assume), and they installed the lift for you, then it's the dealers' call as to whether to "warranty" their work in house. Most garages warranty their work for 30 days or 1000 miles. Some offer more coverage. The bottom line is, this has nothing to do with Chrysler (the company), it has to do with the garage that did the work. I want to emphasize again, that if the scooter lift was not made by Chrysler(which I believe is correct), they can not be held responsible for it. If I'm wrong, and Chrysler DID make the lift, it would have a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty, whichever comes first.

Chrysler does not manufacture lifts for scooters or wheel chairs. These items are usually installed by a company that specializes in handicap needs. If there is a problem with any of these items, those companies work with the dealer so it can be fixed as soon as possible.

Why is Chrysler responsible for paying for installation of your lift? That's a personal need, and not the problem of Chrysler.
Did anyone at Chrysler promise to pay for your lift? Did you get it in writing?

I'd say the best place to start with this complaint is the company itself via email and/or US "snail" Mail. If neither of these work then get your Congressman involved, that's part of what we put them in office for to help us solve these types of problems that can in effect have national consequences.

more info needed
Why should they reimburse you for your lift?
did you trade it in to dealer- if so, it is the dealer with whom you should speak - and if you traded it why did you agreee to the trade if they did not factor in the lift to your satisfaction.
did it come as part of a assistance package from chrylser- if so you should contact corporate chrysler( chrysler .com)
