I think there are some funny answers. First off, unlike any other sport they play more games 162 that almost double what hockey and basketball play and over 10 times what football play. I’ve seen fat football players think anyone 250 is fat. So to say baseballers are lazy and fat is just wrong they do more physical on a daily basis then most other sports. It’s just there is a lot of downtime for some of the players and you are always traveling 81 games away from home is a lot of partying. So to say, they are fat without giving anything to compare them to is not right. Fat as compared to football players not a chance, fat as compared to basketball players, statically maybe (but remember there are more baseball players then basketball players), fat as compared to tennis players probably. Nevertheless, to make a general statement like that isn’t fair.

Only some baseball players are fat. Like David Ortiz. But if you wanna see fat, watch football. Lineman are like 4,000 pounds.

because you dont condition the same in baseball as you do in other sports. Its just a different game. Plus baseball players are lazy and chew a lot.

Dude, there is no such thing as a "baseballer" They're called baseball players. And they are usually fat. Some are.

Baseball is not a very aerobic game. It's mostly standing around.
It's also a very specialized game. If you can throw the ball particularly well, it doesn't matter much if you're toting around a few extra pounds.

Because they don't do anything. They sit on the bench and then get up to swing a bat. The most running they do is to a base.
