Both Beyonce and her boyfriend capitalized from the deaths of others. Trust me, if Biggie was still alive... there'd be no Jay-Z.
If Aaliyah were still alive, Beyonce wouldn't be as big as she is. She would still have an audience. Beyonce's appeal is that she's just black enough to be accepted by African-Americans and visually light enough to be accepted by whites. 80 percent of Beyonce's talent lies in her *** and how she looks.
I believed Aaliyah had more talent and didn't rely solely on her looks to bolster album sales. How many half naked photos or videos can you find of Aaliyah? Not that many. Can't say the same for ole B.

According to IMDB she wasn't a #1 actress, haven't seen any of her movies actually but she only had a few under her belt. And Beyonce only has a couple of movies also, though they were more popular.
As far as singing, she had some awesome songs that I still love hearing!!! I just don't get tired of her. Beyonce seems to be singing the same song over and over again on different tracks and albums (she has a fab voice and should do more with it). While Aaliyah's songs, though in the same genre, were very different from each other. I think that Aaliyah would be a better chart topper then Beyonce, but I don't think they would be rivals.

I think Aaliyah is a slightly better music artist. I thought Aaliyah was a overrated actress. I think Beyonce has the better overall package = good musician + good actress. I think they would have got along.

No way. Aaliyah would be old news, and Beyonce is newer and fresher, so i think that Aaliyah could be in movies if she was still alive, but not as big as beyonce.

Aaliyah was a sweet girl. I think they would be friends. She had more talent than Beyonce, so Aaliyah would still probably be number one.

For someone to say Alliyah is old news is wrong....she would've been about the same age as Beyonce......I believe with Beyonce's Mom and Dad strongly behind her is what has helped her tremendously... No doubt she can sing and is very beautiful... but to guess and say Alliyah would not be as big is something we shouldn't even have to think about... Alliyah has passed on and should be remembered. She was a very strong, talented and beautiful singer. It's also a comparison to Selena.....Would she have reached the same level as Mariah and Madonna....The world will never know........

I think they would both be stars in their own rights. Beyonce would be big even if Aaliyah was alive. I don't think she would have taken Aaliyah's thunder, but they would both be big stars.

i think beyonce would but aaliyah would have her own too. Beyonce and Aaliyah are two different artists with two different styles.

Hello..I adored Aaliyaah and I am fully convinced that she would have been growing even as a greater and renown star..I think that they might have some issues for resolving,but a real conflict I don't believe it..Best of luck!!
