We actually had at least 20 phones lyring around in different places throughout the house. I read other responses and they all sound like good ideas as well. But, with ours, we had a yardsale, and a few people actually asked if we had old phones. This old couple who owned a cell phone store bought everysingle one of them and we priced them at $5 each.. Made a quick hundred dollars. =]

Either hang on to them or take them to the companies with which you got them from. I'd personally hang on to one or two of them if you have more then that donate. But hold some incase something happens to yours. With Sprint, I have the insurance but you can only file one claim per year, so after that one time if something happens you have to buy a new phone or just connect one you already have around the house for free.

Did you know you can donate or recycle them? Many cell phone companies accept old phones and refurbish them. Some even give them away to families/individuals in need.

Donate them to the YWCA. They give them to women working on escaping abuse situations. They are programmed to call only 911, and are free to the women so they can have a way to get in touch with help if needed, without their abuser knowing they even have it, since many abusers are also very controlling.

I think that some companies have a program where you can give them back and they can pay you for them or they have a drive to give them to people that can not afford them.
