Bush is also a certified jet aircraft pilot, has been the Governor of Texas and a two-term President of the United States.
I'm not specifically picking on "Spike Wilbury", it's just interesting to note that someone who spends the day typing nonsense on Yahoo would question the intellect of a man who has accomplished so much.

"nefariousx" wrote ... "My school is better anyways." Can you believe that ... "anyways". What kind of "better" school teaches people to write "anyways"?

"oddtothet" ... so basically you take what are two of the most prestigious institutions of higher learning in the United States and demean them by stating that they give away degrees. Nice. A little jealous of the President are we? And they were actually earned degrees.

"bunchik" ... interesting that your "facts" about Bush's education at Yale are all fifteeth-party hearsay and that you didn't acknowledge that he did, in fact, get an MBA from Harvard. Wow, the liberals sure are jealous of the President.

"Spike Wilbury" ... just as I figured, an answer that makes no sense at all. My statement has nothing at all to do with freedom of speech. Nothing. That's a typical liberal move to try and reframe the argument when you've lost it. Your "proof" that Bush is not an intellect is only based on his inability to speak well in public. THAT'S what you consider a great leader, someone who speaks well? You don't have a master's in anything. Of course I would get in a plane with any certified jet pilot. I don't think it's nonsense to disagree with the President or anybody, and I didn't say so, I simply said that it's odd for someone like you to specifically question his intellect. I thinks it's AWESOME when moron celebrities like Madonna and the fat Dixie Chick express their disagreement with Republicans because those speeches ALWAYS result in more Republican votes. You lose, try again.

"Dr.Feelgood" = typical liberal fact-raped by the media. Doctor, Bill Clinton was not respected around the world and the US wasn't respected in international matters during his presidency simply because world leaders knew he was a domestic-oriented president. The "8" years of prosperity you're ignornatly referring to has been going on since the early 80's and are a direct result of Republicans FORCING the Democrats to pass much-needed tax-relief which stimulated economic growth to a degree the world has never seen. Clinton didn't bring himself up from anywhere. Clinton was elected President because the media and Americans were sold a false image as part of a BRILLIANTLY run campaign by James Carville.

"john_stolworthy" ... Seriously? Kerry was in Vietnam? I hadn't heard that before ...
Anyway, please keep in mind that Kerry served in the "war zone" and in doing so dishonored nearly every man he served with and highlighted his tour by shooting and unarmed soldier in the back while he was trying to run away. Can anyone say "Geneva Convention violation"?

"nefariousx" you wrote "... but that doesn't mean i can't trounce my opposition to pieces." The day you "trounce" anything except your dignity and self-respect please let me know. I'd like to see that happen. Apparently you're afraid to allow email to your account, coward.

You are a typical Republican who doesn't like Freedom of Speech, the same freedom that your moron leader is trying to give to the Iraqi people. so....Freedom of Speech is nonsense?
Bush is quite far from being an intellect....ha ha...are you some kind of comedian? You think Bush has accomplished so much eh? "Mission Accomplished?"
Yes I do have a Master's Degree. No I do not have a rich daddy who was a former President who got me into Yale and Harvard but I can tell you my GPA was higher than "W"...
Bush is a pilot eh? ....would YOU get in a plane and have Bush as your pilot? I didn't think so!!!
Why do you think it's nonsense when someone disagrees with you or our President? What's wrong with you?
So you don't like when people like Madonna or other Democrats make comments about politicians....then why is it ok for idiots like Ann Coulter or Bill Bennett to go on TV and spew their shiite? It goes on.....on both sides.....

So because Bush go a "C" at Yale we should worship him? I always though "C" meant average. Do we really want a president with "average" education? Just because he went to 2 of the most prestigious schools in the country on daddy's money doesn't mean he's automatically earned my respect.
Kerry was an average student, too, and a US senator, Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts , received his Juris Doctor (J.D.). and actually served in a war zone, instead of hiding in the Texas Guard. Do you respect him?
Just because someone is moderately qualified for a job doesn't mean they will be good at it.
edit: I didn't say, or even mean to suggest, that Kerry would have been a better choice. I have little or no respect for him or Bush. I think we can do better than both of them. Look at the wonderful choices we had last election:
1- An MBA who's failed at every business he's ever run
2- A vereran who stabbed his comrades in the back
WHY?

Hey buddy, what school did you go to. My second question is why do you feel the need to defend the presidents education? What do you get out of it, really who cares. All your doing is insulting the other people. Spike whatever, got a right to say whatever.
But you insulting people makes you look bad. So what if he went to Yale, I didn't, maybe you didn' t either, who knows. Point is maybe you should ask a question like this "How do we get more kids into college" Or "What does it mean to have an MBA and be President"
Instead your coming off as a jacka$$.
God Bless!!

What's your point Meat head? I'm sure you"re intelligent and insightful enough to realize that formal education is all well and good but when it comes down to "brass tacks" (running the country) one needs "vision and street smarts" much link CLINTON had. You remember him, 8 years of prosperity and respect throughout the world, a man who made himself the most powerful person in the country, coming up from little HOPE Arkansas? Besides you and I both know that Ivy league schools hold a certain amount of slots for children of alumni. Wrap your pea brain around that imbecile.

I wouldn't put much stock in his degree's
its not like rich people cant buy thier way in, and hence buy thier way out.......
My school is better anyways.
yeah anyways......
Exactly my point....how can a Yale man mangle the english language so as to speak gibberish, or rather gobolity goook...
the man is proud to be a C student and told the graduating class at Yale that the C students could also be president......failing to mention the need to be white, rich and connected, have the supreme court in a your favor.. it was a sad day for both academics and the presidency
anyways.... it was a yale/harvard man embracing mediocrity....thats what you want from a president...

Bush got C grades from Yale....
These gals all went to school in New Haven. They all hate W.
At dinner last night one said to the other as an aside: that everyone in New Haven knows that no one got a C at Yale. That a C at Yale was really an F. So that W really flunked out of Yale even though the media cannot say it.
Bush had mentally retarded and children executed when he was govenor of Texas.
Bush went AWOL on his military term.
Bush STOLE the last 2 elections...
BUSH IS A MORON'S DELIGHT!

I don't know about Spike or even who he is; but one thing I do know is that I have a GED and have better comprehension of the English language than George does. So I think I'll run for President in 08, who's going to vote for me?

Let's talk about "typing nonsense" for a moment.
Your question is all over the place.
Bush is a strikingly dumb and unread man for someone who was born with a silver spoon up his @$$.
Bush had retarded people executed? Scumbag.
If you're not a multi-millionaire you have no business voting for republicans. So there.
