I am having such a hard time with fractions the teacher is not helping with a explanation very good so i can understand

Instead of dividing, multiply the first fraction by the RECIPROCAL of the second. (Flip the second one over.)

(7/12)(3/4) = (21/48) = (716)

this gives the same result as dividing and is much easier.

7/12 / 4/3 = 7/12 * 3/4=7/16

You should at least try to figure it out on your own...read through the chapter and check out the examples. this is really pretty easy stuff if you just try to understand it.
