I was out in Monument Valley Park last Saturday and saw about 50 pink balloons and an "It's a girl!" sign at one of the gazebos. Monument Valley Park is very pretty - it has a duck pond, lots of ancient trees for shade, the city demonstration gardens, and a popular walking path. I think it's the prettiest park in town. Take the Uintah exit off of I-25, go east, and take the very first left, on Glen. Glen goes past the park almost immediately, with the duck pond on your left and RR tracks on your right.

Go pick out a gazebo for the event (there are some old-fashioned classic ones, and some larger modern picnic shelters), then call (719) 385-5941 to reserve a gazebo. I hope it's a great shower for you!

There are tons of places. I used my church fellowship hall. But keep in mind stairs-parking-weather.
