Never heard of that before. Every computer can get a virus. Thats like saying only certain people get viruses.
There are less viruses that affects MAC computers, but there is no such thing as a MAC not getting ANY viruses. All computers are susceptible to viruses.
EDIT: You are reading something from APPLE. Thats like reading something from a cigarette company saying that they do not cause cancer.

There are some viruses for Mac, but there tend to be fewer for two reasons. First, the Mac market is much smaller than the Windows PC installed base, so there's not much incentive for someone to write malware for them. Apple could triple their sales and still not crack a 20% market share. Second, a few aspects of the OS, owing mostly to its Unix roots, provide greater security than Windows XP does. As a sub-point, the extremely tight coupling of Windows XP and Internet Explorer does not help the Windows platform.
Microsoft has made major efforts in its next Windows release - Windows Vista - to address the malware problem. You can read a bit about it on the arstechnica.com review of Vista's second beta release. Time will tell the extent to which Vista can reduce malware.

The main reason Macs don't get too many virus's or spyware is because they have such a small maket share that they are being ignored. Since Mac is changing to an Intel chip rather than the Motorola chips they use to use you will see more crap hitting them. In addition, if they ever start to get a decent market share (sorry guys, less than 10% is not decent) then you will also see more crap aimed at them, for now it is too much trouble with very little return.

Not ENTIRELY true.
Mac's CAN (And in fact, rarely, DO) get viruses.
The misperception (Which Apple is happy to exploit) comes from the fact that an outstanding majority of people in the world are using PC's, and, hence, an outstanding majority of viruses (And spyware, trojans, malware, etc) is designed specifically for PC's (And, ergo, won't run on a Mac).

yeah...I have a Mac and have had no viruses whatsoever! It's a great computer...a lot better than PC's cause PC's always have problems with them. Mac's can still get virus's but it's not as likely.
