pay their half. if you really want your friend to go. pay for it and tell them it is a b-day present or christmas present. i know how it is to be broke. and i know how it feels to want to go somewhere so bad, but just don't have the money.

If your friend wants to go to Paris, she needs to come up with what she owes! How can she expect to pay for herself when she never has any money? And where will she get money once she gets to Paris? There's nothing you can do to help her. Just go with your other friends and have a great time.

Sounds like your friend is both not good with money... and two too stubborn to ask for help... I would talk to your parents... see if you and they can help this person out. Either by loaning the money or by talking to your friend and her parents. I think her parents would really want to know what's going on. And they can at least help her stay on track. She needs to learn to be smart with her money or she'll be in big trouble when you get out of school... so maybe talkin to her parents would be good for her. They can help her learn to be responcible with money. Good luck to you and I hope you have a glorious time in paris... I've never been so take pictures for me LOL jk
God bless you and your friend and may he Guide you and keep you safe on your trip!

I am sorry to say but you should not be worrying about your friend. She should worry about herself. I have a friend just like that and eventually your friend will say can I borrow the money from you if you do it she will never pay you back. I cant keep track of all the money my friend owes me. Tell your friend ask your mom or get a job and if she wont do that than its her own fault.

If her not paying means she misses out, well sadly that is her loss - you can keep reminding her, but no more. Will the trip really be ruined if she doesn't make it?
If it means you all missing out then you need to get a bit tougher and remind her what is at stake - perhaps threaten to go to her mum, because it really isn't fair on the rest of you.
Hope you make it to Paris and enjoy yourselvers.

Well, as long as your trip doesn't depend on that friend, go. If she can't find the money, she doesn't get to go. If the trip depends on your friend going, then give her the money, but set rules down on when and how she has to pay you back. If she doesn't, I'd distance yourself from her because that isn't a good friend.

Try and find ways to help her raise money. Maybe they could get a part time job or if she can't get a job then just set up colleting bins somewhere and ask for donations. Also you could always sell old clothes and items to second hand stores to get money.

If she doesn't pay, she doesn't go. It's her deal, not yours. Now, if YOU have paid for her and are waiting for her to pay up in order for her to go, try to get your money back. Let her deal with the consequences of being irresponsible. By all means, try to tell her her time is almost up, and don't give her any money.

Unless you want to foot the bill for your friend, there really is nothing you can do. It sounds like your friend is a junior free-loader in training. You don't need to en-able her. She very well may not be able to go, but you shouldn't feel responsible if she doesn't.

FIRST THINKS FIRST, IF SHE DOESN'T TELL HER MOM WHERE SHE IS GOING, SHE MUST NOT BE RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH TO GO ON THE TRIP.
EITHER SHE IS OF AGE OR NOT, YOU DON'T GO ON A TRIP WITHOUT TELLING SOMEONE, ESPECIALLY HER MOTHER, WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO HER?
IF SHE IS UNDER AGE, THAN SHE DOESN'T GO WITHOUT PARENTAL CONSENT.
IF SHE IS OF AGE, WELL SHOWS YOU HOW RESPONSIBLE SHE IS ON SAVING MONEY,SHE'S KNOWN ABOUT THIS FOR HOW LONG? i REST MY CASE!!!!!! SHE DOESN'T GO!!!!
IF YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE BORROW HER THE MONEY, DON'T ASK HER FOR IT BACK, GIVE IT AS A GIFT(YOU WOULDN'T GET IT BACK ANYWAYS)
IF YOU DO BORROW IT TO HER, ASK HER WHEN SHE CAN PAY IT BACK AND DROP IT THERE. IF SHE DOESN'T PAY IT BACK WHEN SHE SAID, YOU KNOW WHAT KIND OF FRIEND YOU HAVE AND CUT IT AS A LOSS AND YOUR FRIEND TOO

No money, no go. She's holding out for somone to pay her way, and it doesn't look like she'll meet the deadline. Practice "tough love" and go without her ... she has to learn responsiblity and integrity.
