Need more info. Do you have a pedal? Does it go to the floor? Are you leqaking brake fluid back there? If you have a hard pedal and the pressure is not reaching the rear brakes, then you may have a bad proportioning valve. Trace the lines from the master cylinder to a small junction box near the fender. This is the valve. Try bleeding the air if any, out of it 1st. If it no longer works , then replace it and blled the entire brake system. This should cure the problem for you. If you have rubber brake lines, it is a possibilty that the hose have deteriorated internally and act like a check valve and not letting fluid reach the rar brakes. So if fluid comes out of the proportioning valve but not at the rear brakes, you may just have a bad brake hose.

most of the time, there is a brake line leak on something that old. I open master cylinder, one side will be empty, fill it , pump brakes and the leak should be obvious. If the master is full and there are no obvious leaks and everything in the drums are ok, then you most likely have a failed master cylinder
