Rock is better in my opinion. Rap is not music, it's the same beat with different lyrics all the time.

Rock deff, it is more up beat, has beter languge (on some of the songs) and doesn't revolve around swears and drugs, Rock has some good songs, I have yet to find a rap song i love.

Since rappers often sample and/or remix rock songs for their music, and rockers NEVER sample or remix rap for their music, I would think the answer is self evident.

Hip hop/rap. I grew up with it and I love the old school groups that actually have a message. The new crap thats out nowadays is ridiculous. How can you rhyme about bling, bangin b*tches and your new pimped out rides, and call it a hit record with hookers in the video shakin their a**es? What the hell is happening to good music?

definantly rock. the only rap i like at all is eminem, and that's only like 1 or 2 "songs" if you could call them that.
