You might not be burping her enough... try doing it for a little bit longer. Also, after she eats, don't lay her down but sit her up in something. Make sure she doesn't get moved around a lot. Good luck.

If the baby's on formula you might want to try switching it. Good Start is a whey based one and it seemed to help us. If your nursing watch closely to see if there is any connection to the foods you might be eating (spicy, citrus). Then again some babies just spit more than others. On the other hand you might want to mention it to your Pediatrician. It seems more and more babies are having reflux. As for the messing up of the outfits, try a little baking soda in with your wash it can be pretty good at getting out stains. Good Luck

My kids used to do that to. You need to burp her several times while she is eating. Like with mine I'd feed them half an ounce, then stop and burp them, then feed another half ounce, and burp them and just keep doing that until she's full. When you wait until they have finished the whole bottle, they spit it back up because of the air bubbles, they get in their belly. This really works.

Well, depending on how much formula she drinks in one sitting, she could be taking too much. My son was doing the same thing, and he was already on Good Start. Our pediatrician said to start him on cereal. So it could just be she isn't getting enough from formula alone, so she drinks too much. My son was taking almost 5 ounces about every 2-3 hours, and now he's taking at most 4 ounces every 3 hours with rice cereal mixed in. Or, it could be reflux. My first son had it and couldn't keep anything down until they started him on medicine. Just make sure to burp her a lot, and talk to her doctor.

Try laying her on her left side. This position puts the stomach lower than the esophogus and reduces reflux and spitting up. If the baby is 4 months or older you may try thickening it with formula to help her keep it down.

Mention it to her pediatrician at her next appt. If she's breast fed, make sure she's gets a couple good burps after feeding. If she's formula fed, make sure she's burped well but a change in formula might be necessary. Ask her doctor.

Sounds like reflux...you need to keep her in a semi sitting position for about 1/2 an hour or so after feeding.

You can't really do anything between like 3 months and 9 months. They kinda just wallow in their spit ups. Cute though.
