Most mp3 players are designed to withstand a 4 foot drop....

iPods are notorious for having poor battery life.

No they are not cheaper than regular mp3 players such as "sandisk" however, the have better features and are a higher quality product. My cousin has an off-brand and my brother has an I-pod and she is forever having trouble with her off-brand one and he never has any problems, and he has more room for songs. It s worth the extra $$!

yes theyBREAK easier thats why ur not suposed to get one not only do theyb reak easier but the sound quality is crap comapred to the creative micro photo

No. Not if you have a good case on the iPod and are careful about how you use it.
