It is the summer so it is our rainy season, but that just means it will more than likely rain at least a little every day. But it can be a good thing because unless it is storming with high winds and lightning the rides will still run. They may shut down a few for a little while until the weather clears a little but they usually continue to run most of the rides as long as it is safe. But most people don't go to a theme park in the rain so there are very few lines and it isn't as hot. So don't let a little water get you down..and have fun..

We heard that too before we went, but I've heard and learned from when we were there that you could set your watch by the rain showers. The rain didn't last all day. It was more like a passing thunder storm that happened once a day at the same time. The rest of the time was beautiful and the storms only lasted 20-30 mins if that.

Plan for it to rain every day around 4 or 5 for about 30 min. Other than that is should be fine, maybe some sprinkles here and there. You will welcome the wet from the heat - it feels good. I always try to be in a show, or in an indoor cue line a that time.

It rains almost every day and you welcome it when it comes. It gets very hot in the summer. Bring an umbrella. When it rains, it cools things off a bit. You go in and out of pavillions. Most lines are covered with a roof of some kind while you wait.
Don't be afraid to get a bit wet.

It rains everyday here. I live close to Orlando. The rain here during the summer is here one minute and gone the next. Don't worry afternoon showers last no longer than a half hour usually.

I got rained on hard when I was at Disney World. Taking an umbrella is a good idea.

Yes but it helps with the heat and humidity and it never rains ALL day. You should still be able to enjoy Disney and Universal.

I lived in Orlando for many years (now Tampa) and it rains every afternoon there. count on some rain in late afternoon. it's something that you cannot prevent in the summer. just bring a poncho. it won't be that bad because it cools off for a little bit and the lines for rides won't be as long. believe me, you don't want to stand in long lines in the florida heat. have a good time!
