it was probably about 1/4 an inch big. I'm just not sure what it is.

If you have carpet then I would guess it is a harmless carpet spider. I live in Michigan and we have a ton of these. They make a small cocoon web in the corner of two walls or anywhere there is a 90° angle. Just buy some spider spray and spray along the floor where it meets the wall and that should keep them away.

probably harmless.... but personally, i know that i'd have screamed and flipped out. call me arachnaphobic, but that's what i'd have done. anyways, i think woodybmi is right. but still... it's a spider!

its probably a baby spider that just hatched....u might see a lot of them roaming ur house, and when i mean a lot i mean about 1,000-2,000 of them.
