I have worked for the past 5 years producing television and radio programs. I like to solve problems others are afraid to touch. I'd like to use the energy I have to work on positive issues. I have worked for the Sierra Club. I have worked for the Republican Party. I have worked for the State of California. Now I'm looking to volunteer in order to prove myself. I would like to use my critical thinking skills and my ability to communicate with people to make the world a better place. The opportunity if given to me would be a very wise investment as I will give the employer everything I have in terms of energy, motivation, dependability and a great team player. I have studied at the junior college level and have a tremendous amount of real world experience as I have tried to extend my horizions and not limit myself to one particular field of expertise. Thanks for reading my request.

Do you really think that an employer with a job opening is going to snap his fingers and say "Ah Yes, of course, I'll go look on YahooAnswers!"

I'd start by checking local papers and look for ads on Monster, and Carreerbulder.com. THEN I"d go out and find some companies whom I'd like to work for. Find out as much as you can about the company and then put in a resume. I've found that sending a letter to the CEO a bit better than sending it to HR.

paper the town with your resume and good luck.

You need to work on your education and obtain a bachelors degree. What you "bring the table" thousands if not hunderds of thousand also bring to the table, or so they say. You need to take your experience and figure out what you want to do, saying I will work for anyone and do anything doesn't cut it...if thats what works for you then a job at Walmart, McDonalds, or some other type of establishment is just a day away for you. You need to find a goal, look at what makes you happy and put a plan in place to get there. No one is going to hand it to you on a silver platter, you need to work to get it, earn it and make it happen.

Good luck, vote me as the best answer.

Ron, I always check on Yahoo Answers for people who are bright and talented. I have sent you a personal email to start up a dialog. I just thought I would let Marvinator know that the smart employers know all the best places to look for good people.
