If you're serious about writing, you need to get a quality editor and agent in your corner. (I use WordTechs.) These folks will help you fine-tune your work and get it into the right hands. If you're just looking for a cheap printer, check out www.lulu.com.
Good luck with your writing!

Kristin K says it all, but I have something to add that I hope doesn't dampen your enthusiasm. Big Publishing doesn't want you, it will befrustrating for you to keep query-ing big houses unless you have found the bones of Jimmy Hoffa or the real killer of OJ's wife.
Many folks will tell you to get an agent, also difficult, successful agents seldom take a chance on first time writers. Unless, see above.
The books you see on sale are for the most part, guaranteed sellers, publishers are in the business of making money and choose their authors carefully.
Self publishing is costly and you will need a good editor. You and your editor will be responsible for your final edit and pre-production requirements. Try AuthorHouse.com
You can do a one-off through Kinko's and do your own distribution. Time consuming. Don't give up the day job. But I you are serious and agressive you can make it. Good luck.

Raven, it doesn't cost anything to query publishers about a book you've written. You need to check out (in your public library) a book called "Writer's Market" or one called "The Literary Marketplace" and look up a section called "Literary Agents." There is a lot of info about how to write a query letter in Writer's Market, and sample letters to show you what you need to do. Almost all book publishing is done through literary agents, who will then contact publishers for you.
Then, write a one-or-two-page letter called a "query letter" describing your book. You don't send complete book manuscripts anywhere anymore. I don't know of any publishing houses who accept completed manuscripts without requesting them first. Agents are not always necessary, but they are what 90% of authors use now.
Be prepared for lots of rejection notices. It happens to everyone, so it's not because your book isn't good enough for publication.
Also, you can, if you prefer, publish it yourself on lulu.com--they don't charge for publication on the internet. If you want a hard copy of your book, you will pay a nominal fee. If you want more than one copy, it might cost a considerable amount. There are good and bad things about self-publishing your manuscript, so I urge you to check out both conventional and self-publishing methods VERY THOROUGHLY before you decide on any one method. There are pitfalls and benefits to every method of publishing. With self-publication, you will need to do all your own marketing, have your money for the numerous copies you'll need up front, may have limited cover art styles available, and you may also lose some rights to publication at a later time.
With conventional methods of publishing, getting your manuscript read by anyone is the hardest part. You may give up or not get your book read for years. You need to be prepared for a lot of rejection and be able to look beyond it, and accept the criticism you'll be offered. Have your book thoroughly edited by a reputable editor who will check for mistakes in content, and copy before you are ready to submit. Also, register your copyright before you send your book anywhere.
There are a lot of help sites on the net for you to use when you're ready to publish your book. I really can't emphasize enough how important it is to be well-informed!
Good luck!

You want to publish a book for free?
Yeah, no, not going to happen. The only thing you'll get is whole-heartedly scammed. If you want opinions you can submit it to http://www.fictionpress.net but most of the people there can't write a proper English sentence to save their life.
(And, judging by your writing above, it needs some serious editing before being submitted anywhere.)
