I feel much more comfortable taking the 19 year old who is in the army, because he/she probably couldn't find other employment and who have no idea why they're there. Much easier to please, a flag, a parade, some fast cash, and some domestic violence classes.

Environmentalists would probably just climb a palm tree and not come down if sent to the front lines in Iraq. They don't have to eat the whole turd to know it ain't no crabcake.

That might be a source of discomfort for the magnetic-ribbon brigade, like yourself, who sit at home on their computer -

"Support our troops!"

"Yes, but they want to come home now."

"Support them!"

"That means leaving Iraq and ending the war...you know...that cutting and running you accused the Dems of..."

"Well...um...."

"They're towing your double-parked H2."

At this point the only way to be pro-troops is by being opposed to this war.

If we don't do something about the environment we will die. Al Gore's movie upset you, I understand, but just because thinking hurts you, doesn't mean it isn't happening. Only the Neanderthals in the Bush camp deny that pollution is the cause of global warming.

I rather think that all people that are interested in protecting criminal behavior and obscuring the truth are with you.
The environmentalist at least have someone's best interest at heart.
They want to protect the Earth from the pollution and God's creatures from the powerful wealthy that only care about money and power.
What does Georgie and his cronies really want from all of this do you think? Could it be oil and power and money. You can't sincerely think that Georgie has the dept and intelligence to see beyond himself and those like him, do you? They claim they know about God but when you look at what his decisions have wrought it proves them to be really shallow human beings that have no idea what God is or what he stands for - peace, take care of the beautiful Earth and animals he created, value all life are a few.

I LIKE IT! Can we also use PETA members and Greenpeace folks? I LIKE that! I'd also love to take EVERY single Bush Basher and throw them up in the front lines, MAYBE, just MAYBE that would SHUT them UP!! I LOVE to see what they would do when confronted by the terrorists that use children as a human shield. And keep in mind, these terrorists WILL be shooting at them. I can see it now, they'd have there stupid signs (on glossy paper) and they'd be giving them the PEACE sign, thrying to "negotiate" and then the terroroists would shoot them.

I don't get it...Why make the people who have a moral issue with the war fight in it. If you believe in it so strongly why don't you go fight in the front lines. (And i'm not sure being an environmentalist makes you object to the war.)

i think is was back in the 70's or 80's......some smart-a$$ took a tally of all the plastic cups, paper plates, disposable tableware, and paper napkins that a bunch of jerk enviromentalists used after a convention......i don't know the exact numbers but it was thousands......
