There is an option to a cell phone.
You can still talk on the phone.
There is no option to TV.
I don't have a cell phone so I would gladly give it up for another year.
I have an answering machine if anything important comes up when I'm not home.
I don't want to be bothered when I'm driving or doing anything else except sitting in front of the TV.

a year without TV because I love books and I can read my books every day all day long. I don't use my cell phone very often anyway; so, a year without my cell phone is okay for me too

a year without my cell phone....
sometimes it's just nice to unplug.
i used to have a job that required my cell phone to be attached to me at all times....it was awful.
the only part about the cell phone i'd miss would be my game of tetris and text messaging my husband!
the TV on the other hand....well, i'd miss that A LOT!
