I have the same problem, no one believes that I am more comfy in heels. I detessed flats, but the older I get, I am sure I will have to wear them for balance someday. I heard it was from the tendon in the back of your foot shortening over time, when you only wear heels. When I am barefoot I walk on my tip toes.

It happens. Happened to me, until I head to wear flats to work. Somehow, I got used to it. Then I broke my leg and coudn't wear high heels for a year. When I tried to wear them again, I found out I don't know how to walk in them anymore. That's crazy. So my answer is that you can get used to it, just wear them even if they are unconfortable.

You need to get back into the routine of wearing flats. Your feet are used to wearing heals and your feet can't handle flats yet. Go to a doctor and ask them for advice! Then you can get back into your flat wearing routine!

It's due to the deformation of your foot due to heels. The achellies tendon "shrinks" while the rest of your foot conforms to the stresses of wearing heels. This can cause heel problems later, so you might want to go to a podiatrist for tips on how to ease back into wearing flats.

This happened to me too. You need to wear flats every once in a while or your arch gets stuck like that.

Forget flats! Flats are for shy not feminine girls! Stick with heels and be the most sexy girl in the bunch. Girls with flats are like french fries without salt...

That means you've ruined your feet, and you'll soon start feeling it in your legs and back as well. Look forward to a very uncomfortable old age. High heels should never be worn by anyone.
