It is the summer, so of course, most people my age are out living it up and partying and going to the beach all the time. However, I am not. I stay home most nights, maybe do something once in a while: I went to a nearby city with some friends for my friend's birthday on Friday and on Wednesday I went to my friend's house and we watched movies. I also work 4 days a week, so it's not like I'm doing nothing.

I'm just wondering if this is normal. I don't like parties very much, not that I'm invited to many. Please help me, because I feel like I don't do enough.

If you think I don't do enough, what are some tips for doing more with people-I don't have many friends.

god bless you honey! Keep working and doing whatever you're doing and (even if it's not much)...it is fine. I rather make money for things blow it all anyway.
If you don't feel like you're doing enough have a little party yourself or just kick back with your closest friends. I think when you cram your life with so much, it can become a little monotanous. Go through life nice and easy. You gotta a long time to do EVERYTHING !

sounds like you have a good balance of social life, working life and down time at home to regroup and recharge for school life in the fall.
my teen likes to ride bikes with friends or go to the park to meet and hang out or hang out at a coffee shop or swim at a local pool
