I have bought "tester" bottles of perfume for years.....no, you don't go to a department store and buy the tester they have had out on their counter....and by the way, most of those have a higher concentration of the perfume oil to entice you to buy. I buy all of my perfumes through ebay as testers, they will state "new in bottle" or "unopened".....if I can't find what I want there, we have a local area where there are a lot of sellers and I can buy "testers" there also. Tester?? It means it comes in a plain box and no cutesy lid....that's all. No difference and I have yet to see them let a customer use the bottle....they have for them to spray on a card so you can smell it....but they don't sell that one, it's in-store use only.

A tester bottle is usually put out for people who walk through a store to use. This way, they can smell it on them before they decide to buy it! If you are getting a good deal on an unopened tester bottle, chances are, they had two of them and nobody used the first one. A tester bottle could also be a smaller container. Sometimes at the women's counter you can get perfume in little cheap tubes. It may be enough perfume for only one use, but you could wear it around for a day and then decide if you want to buy it or not! I hope I helped you find your answer!

The tester bottle is not different than the regular bottle. The tester is typically what is put out on shelves so people can try the cologne/perfume instead of spraying a new bottle.

The only difference would be that the tester is opened and may be missing some of its contents, meaning it might not be full.

Same stuff inside but the bottle might be shaped differently than the retail bottles.

If you're thinking of getting this as a cheaper gift for your girl than the regular bottle I'd check the bottle to make sure it isn't labeled "tester" on it anywhere.

There is no difference between the tester and the regular stuff. Most store just get their testers for free or at a big discount and they come marked as "tester" so that they don't sell them and they use them as testers.

A tester bottle is usually one that is open for others to try, like in a department store. Sometimes they're the same size, some times they're smaller. This is opposed to a regular bottle, which should be sealed when you are purchasing it.

Sometimes the design of the tester bottle is slightly different. Besides having 'tester' printed on it, it might be a slightly smaller size, different shape or it might come without a top on it or something.

If u are buying a tester, its just that you may not get it in a box or sealed. It may not have the official packaging. Other than that, there is no difference in the perfume, if the source from where u buy is quite authentic. Good luck.

dont be a sucker, a tester bottle is just a little bottle to test the perfume. Dont buy it at all costs.
