What do you think a person that has been dead for 50 yrs. would think if they could some how be brought back ?

Funny you ask this because I was watching a documentary on the engineering feats of the Roamn empire and I wondered what they would make of the world today. I think we have made some major advancements in the last 50-years and in the procees, caused some serious harm to the environment and mankind. I think bottom line is that a person from the C19th or early C20th might be most surprised that at the basic level we have not changed at all. We are yet to eliminate war, are still concerned with economic power of one nation over the others, are still racist and dscriminatory, still treat women as 2nd class citizens in many parts of the world, still have hunger, poverty, illetracy, disease etc.....

Everyone has a portable phone, a television, a radio, a car, a personal computer and a college education, and they're still complaining????? They would probably be amazed at the technology, surprised that there's been a man on the moon, really surprised that we haven't had a war with China OR Russia (and that Russia is no more!!!). Then they'd get groceries at a Publix and have a fit about selection and prices, and later have a heart attack at the cost of housing.

they;d probably wish that they were dead again since their family and friends would either be dead or so incredibly different that they wouldnt be considered to be the same person.
