My grandmother used to wear heals all the time. After a few years she could not wear flats anymore. The doctor told her that it is because the tendons on the back of your feet/ankles start to shorten after a while. She had to gradually work her way back into flats.

You might need to wear a firm supportive arch to compensate for the flatness.

You might have flat feet. If I were in your shoes, get arch supports.

you need arch support in your feet. you should get shoes that have arch support. flats will hurt if you don't have that foot shape.
