I don't think you can, but it will all be there when you get back.

You won't be able to do that because your Yahoo! Mail inbox will be loaded with more mail when you return home. Or if you want to send an autoresponder to the recipient in your address book, then follow these simple instructions:
1) after going to the Yahoo! Mail home page, click on the Options link located in the upper right corner of the page
2) once you're at the Mail Options page, go to the center column that reads Management; then scroll down to the bottom of the column to get to the Vacation Response option and click on the link
3) once at the Vacation Response page, set the first date of when you're going to be away and the other for when you are expected back home
4) add a message in the Generic Response box, telling them you won't be checking your email until your return and if you want to, add specific domains in the Special Response box below; and
5) hit the longbar button to activate your autoresponder.
It's up to you with both options. Whatever you do, have a safe trip out of town and your Yahoo! Mail will be waiting for you upon your arrival home.

How do I put a hold on my email until I return to town? Where is the navigation bar on my PC?

Easy, mass e-mail all those who e-mail you regurlarly, and tell them you are going out of town for a while. Then when you get back, anything you have gotten will most likely be spam, and you can delete it. Then mass e-mail everyone to let them know you are back!
