Most fish reproduce by laying eggs. There are exeptions such as platys, mollies, guppies,and certain killifish. These are examples of tropical fish you keep in a tank.
As far as fish in the wild the only ones I can think of are sea horses.

There are many fishes that give birth to live fry! :D The guppy, the molly, the platy, the swordtail, the halfbeak and the mosquitofish. The male has a rod-like instrument on his body (which is visible to the naked eye) that is inserted into the female to fertilize internal eggs. The fry gestate within the mother and then are squirted out through the birth canal. Most babies are eaten upon birth, but, with heavy plant cover and isolation, some will survive up to adulthood. They can be fed an egg/water mixture, baby brine shrimp, or a liquid baby food.

Yes. Fish are either live-bearers or egg layers. Guppies are live bearers. Salmon lay eggs.
