If we were equal, nothing would get done. One who designs a machine may have no skill in making the parts and the one who makes the parts may not have the knowledge to put it all together. The thinker may starve for he has no skills in the hunt and will go hungry before the task is complete. The term Stupid is tooled from the arrogance of man. There are many more Stupids' out there than there are Smarts, yet the stupids prevail. Success is only found it the correct proportions of Stupids and Smarts.

I think stupid and smart are both relative terms.
Stupidity can only be relative to what you consider smart. And smart is relative to what you consider stupid.
I think less intelligent people are labeled 'stupid', because sometimes their actions are so illogical to a smarter person that is observing their behavior.
In reality we all do stupid things and smart things. I think intelligence isn't really a question of learning. If nobody learned anything at all, we would still be smart about some things and stupid about others.
Less intelligent people tend not to learn things, whether by choice or not being capable of processing the information. I think it may be partially caused by genetics, in that their minds may not be physiologically advanced. I think many stupid people had stupid ancestors. And smart people had smart ancestors.
But that is only a part of it. A lot of it is choice. Think about it, even our president is smart about politics, but he does some pretty stupid things when it comes to humanity. So is he stupid or smart?
I think the only really correct answer is the people are both stupid and smart. It depends on the subject you're referencing.

A ratio of 2 parts stupid to 1 part Smart will get a job done. The bigger the job, the more individuals are required. That in turn requires the ratio to play in all phases of manufacturing. If you have a room full of Stupids, they will never find the key to the door.

So that you can stand Superior to the others. Give me a break, most people are followers, those you might be calling stupid, and the rest are those that can see that most are followers and therefor take the rest in whatever direction they (smart) want.
God has nothing to do with mans choices, remember he made you with free will, if you choose to be a follower then enjoy, if you are smart enough to take the crowd with you, the Alleluia!

To paraphrase Abe Lincoln, God must have loved stupid people, otherwise he wouldn't have made so many of them. ( although instead of stupid, he said "common")
Stupid is a relative term, and it is highly subjective. there are many types of intelligence, and if you have a different type of intelligence than someone else (for example, they are good at fixing things and you are good at painting portraits or writing essays) who is to say who is smart and who is not?
It is all part of a balanced world. It all goes back to the argument that good cannot exist without evil, and darkness cannot exist without light. If everyone was a genius, we wouldn't know what genius or stupidity is, because there is nothing to compare it to.
Hope I helped....

Intelligence is just one of millions of attributes that vary from person to person and from species to species. Your question assumes: A) that God created people; B) that intelligence is the only significant way in which people differ; and C) that it's somehow surprising for different people to exhibit different characteristics. In other words, as questions go, it's relatively stupid.

We were all created equally with the same intent. It begins with how a person was raised, and under what circumstances and all that stuff. People are not taught to think any more. They are to busy milking others and riding on their shirt tails, they simply exist and do not live. Blind to things around them so they do not learn or take notice.

Because humans have gone beyond natural selection and developed this unnatural society concept where even the laziest, most ignorant bastard can trudge through life not giving a **** to spread his seed and create offspring with his defective genes. Its unforutnate that our benevolence and morality have created half of a world of useless people with no intent to better themselves. Blame it on the government, that stupid idea of a method of protection that protects people who dont deserve to have precious freedom wasted on them...

god didn't create people.
people created themselves, the ones that worked hardest in the early stages of evolution are the smarter people of today. if people are lazy the wont learn.
it all depends on how you interpret being stupid or smart.
people without ways and means of getting a good education will be "stupid" but is that there fault?

My view is that we each have "smart" and "stupid" aspects. We can "be" smart yet act stupidly. Free choice, apparently bestowed upon us by our creator, allows even "stupid" people to act honestly, kindly, generously, with integrity and wisdom.
We each have our own things to deal with, and the examples of others to follow, inspire, or ignore. Since people can be smart or stupid in any number of ways, there are infinite paths to enlightenment.
