how do you set up the mame arcade emulator to play the games?

MAME is a video game arcade emulator that plays classic arcade games on your computer. Im having a hard time figuring out how to set it up to play.

Super V, MAME is great, first link below is MAME PLUS download the GCC Binary 0.106 file. open it and run. Plus simplfies the coding. it puts a frount end there so you just click on waht you want to play. Now have you downloaded some ROMs? each game requires a rom and for the rom to be keept ziped in the rom folder. Below are links to RomNation And Rom-World.
