I use to be a Tanning Consultant. Yes you can keep your tan lasting long by these steps. First all, always always use a tanning lotion....either at Ulta, your tanning salon, or this place bestpricetanning.com. Then you will always always want to apply an after tan lotion right after you are done tanning. Next do not take a shower for a least 2-3 hours. But, after you take a show put that after tan lotion back on. Keeping your skin clean and exfoliated is the best way to manage a tan.

Tans ususlly tend to fade. There is indeed a tan enhancer, at least the one I use, that increase the duration of tans, real or shade-made, with this SPF 15 formula that moisturizes skin while preventing sunburn and lengthening tan life. Always be careful using SPFs highre than 30. When you use SPF higher than 30 you are putting something with too many chemicals and what it does is that it will irritate your skin. Also after we tan usually the natural balance of moisture is disrupted and we waht to keep our skin moiturized so i use the after sun lotion. This line is called BefoRE Sun and you could find it online at: https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/arbonnepuertorico.nsf/p1/1?OpenDocument&shoppingcart=1... ohh and what is best of all is that these products do not contain mineral oil, or animal products what they do contain are botanically based ingredients. And the BefoRE Sun contain anti-aging ingredients.... so what else could we ask for.....

All tans fade. No way to prevent it except to keep tanning. You don't need to tan as frequently as other races - our tans last longer. Once every two weeks for a short time (1 hour) should be sufficient. Remember tho, no one of any race should over do tanning, skin cancer shows no prejudice.

Yes, your tan will fade. You can use special tanning products to keep the effect all year long. Go to your local department store or Ulta and find a self tanner.
