I think by the time it's 3006, we will be in a technological war, rather than people fighting people it will be robots fighting robots.... either that, or by then everyone will be dead from radiation from all of the nuclear bombs that are being built...the world's going to end eventually, and I think it has a slim chance of being here in 3006.....it's sad but very true to me.

In 3006, 90% of the world belongs to the universal Church of Sheeple Rancher. After his nomination for sainthood went through in 2110, Sheeple Rancherism broke away, first as a renegade sect, and then a mainstream as it swept the world.
The world of 3006, thanks to faith in the spirit of the original Sheeple Rancher, is a marvelous place where beer is delivered free to every house, apartment and condo everywhere people have reached (which turns out to only be Mars - the ship's pilots and navs keep getting busted for drinking and spacing when they aren't skipping duty shifts to booze it up in the ready room).
Other changes since 2006 are the elimination of all religions which oppose dancing , excessive beer drinking, and exotic dancers. The age of majority is down to 10, and SpongeBob is a historical icon ranking with Napolean and Darwin. Racism is no longer an issue - once schools began teaching that everybody likes sex in 2130, that was the end of it.
What can we say now, in 3006? "Pass me another Bud, si'l vous plait".

Things will definitely change for sure. As to the extent of that change who knows how different things will be. You have to think in terms of the different factors that can contribute to change and thats a whole lot. Times are changing fast but whos to say that the change might slow down in future, whos to say there won't be a stagnant period, whos to say we won't move ahead rapidly. It all depends on varying factors. Remember we won't have all the motivating factors of change we have now but we might have better ones in future. Yes, things will change but at what pace and why.
