I don't think its a lack of sex education but more of a reluctance to appear like an idiot for asking a silly question (and the truth is the only silly question is the question not asked) to avoid this type of thing I provided an anonymous question box in the classroom so student could submit questions. Unfortunately there is still a great deal of misinformation in the world and at least here people can ask their question and hopefully get honest, open and upfront advice/answers.

Absolutely! The US is sorely lacking when it comes to comprehensive sex ed, and it never ceases to amaze me how little people know about their own bodies. As abstinence based education becomes more widely practiced, more kids (and adults, for that matter) are confused and trying to get information from unreliable sources. I'll spare you my soapbox speech.
Of course, some do it as a joke or to get a reaction, but if I had a nickel for everytime someone asks "could I be pregnant if..." I'd be a wealthy woman.

Yes and no. I think that lots of kids lack direct and honest sex education and that if they ask questions over the Internet they feel less stupid and more empowered that they are getting honest answers. Kids get sex education all the time its just i think parents are still too afraid to talk to their kids.

Yes. I wish there was a question catagory called sex that could be filtered out, but my history with the internet goes back to 1994 and there were sights that would make you puke way back then.
This place ends up being a "bathroom wall" but in truth, everything on it can be traced, like it or not. I don't think the tweenys get that, so they post cheap thrill questions.

I think most of the questions on here are just people trying to see what they can get away with and what kind of a reaction they will get. Since we can't seem to get them removed, maybe the best thing to do is not respond.
