I'm Dutch fan as well, I think the game was a complete mess. The referee was awful, and the Dutch team was worse. Why Rudd didn't play, I dont' know. The kind of match that it was, I think he would have made some kind of impact. KUYT played really bad. I knew it was going to be a low scoring game, I just thought it would be ther other way, not how it ended.

If you're a big Dutch fan lemme tell ya, The Dutch didn't show any good football, most shots were from afar because they couldn't get close to the goal. Granted, two of them were highly unlucky but so were Portugal's several. The Dutch insisted on foul play and had the obvious favour of the referee who couldn't see Dutch offsides, only Portuguese and often invented. Tactic no. 1 of the Dutch seemed to be send out Cristiano injured, and they made it withour a red card. All those Dutch stars just showed lack of coordination, cool and vision of the game. It wasn't a boxing match for crying out loud, it was soccer!!! Deserved kick out. Ha, and for the fair play lemme tell ya, the Orange don't know the meaning of such a concept.

Usually I'm not a Holland fan, but they didn't deserve this. The Portugal players were bad acting melodramic cheaters in this game, especially FIGO and it would have been great and FAIR if the Dutch had eliminated them. Why didn't Van Basten bring in Van Nistelroy instead of another midfielder. All or nothing, there is no tomorrow and then this ? Van Basten showed no emotions and just seemed stunned at what happened on the field. I felt for the last Dutch player who was sent off (another FIGO casualty - especially as FIGO ought to have been red carded long before). I believe in Karma - and the Porugese will get theirs, even a bad English team ought to be able to take them without several of the star players.

It's pretty good game, just that the ref's too strict!
I wished The Netherlands could've won coz they have such talented young players (Van Persie, Robben, Van Der Vaart, Sneijder ,etc.) who'll develop a lot and can surely help NED to go far in Euro2008

You can be as mad as hell about the card-flashing ref but the score still remains the same. Sepp Blatter should be red-carded - all talk, no action.

omg i was flipping out. i hate that loddy ref. my dads dutch and he really likes them. we were basically out of our seats the entire game yelling at the t.v. too bad they lost. it was good game tho.
