There have been several who have pitched a perfect game by getting out all 27 batters in a row in a nine inning game. However, no one has ever struck out 27 batters in a row.

I hope this helps.

A no hitter is where a pitcher gives up a walk but no hits. A perfect game is where a pitcher throws no hits, no walks. And the answer is no. No pitcher has struck out all 27 batters. There's been meany pitchers that have had help with they're perfect game from the fielders behind him, but no pitcher has thrown 27 strike outs in a row.

There have been many no hitters pitched, but one with the pitcher striking out all 27 men he faced ...no. I believe the record for most strikeouts in a 9 inning game is held by either Roger Clemens or Kerry Wood and I think whichever one it was struck out 19 or 20, but not consecutively.

Tom Cheney holds the record for most strike outs in a MLB game with 21 (of course it took him 16 innings to do it, but give him credit for going 16).

Roger Clemens (X2) and Kerry Wood both struck out 20 in a 9 inning game (It took Randy Johnson 11 innings to do it....what a bum).

So the answer is no. There has never been any pitcher that has approched 27 up and 27 down all by strike out.

Struck out 27 in a row? No. But a perfect game is to retire 27 straight batters, not necessarily strikeouts. That has happened many times.

no, but Ron Necciai, playing for the minor-league Bristol Twins, struck out 27 batters in 9 innings, but they werent all in a row because he had allowed a walk, a hbp, and two players were able to reach base on an error and a dropped 3rd strike. there also was a player who put the ball in play, but it was ground out. Necciai was able to record 27 strikeouts because the dropped 3rd strike allowed him to strikeout 4 in the 9th

A "perfect game" -- Yes -- striking out 27 in a row -- No. Being a Yankee Fan...David Cone & David Wells both have pitched "perfect games" as well as Don Larson.
