I had one in December. It was absolutely the most painful thing I have ever been through. Because most cosmetic surgeries are not covered by insurance, you go home the same day. I went home with a cathedir and drain tubes. I didn't get out of my chair for four days because it hurt so bad. I also have some nerve damage in my leg. One spot on my thigh burns like crazy. The doc said I may never get that to go away. You also have to wear a body suit for about four months night and day. It took me longer than that to be able to sleep on my stomach again. In fact, six months later my tummy is still a little numb feeling.

Today though, I'm fairly satisfied with the results. I had a lot of loose skin to get rid of after loosing weight. I now need to start working out again to tighten up the abs. But that's on me, not the surgery. I had them before the surgery, but you can't work out the ab muscles for a few months either.

All in all, I'm glad I did it. However, if I had to do it all over again knowing what I know now....I'd seriously have to think about it. Not sure I would.

Good luck.

Get your tummy tuck surgery in INdia if cost is a factor for you.Cosmetic Surgery (including facelift/ breast enhancement/reduction/ tummy tuck./lipo) is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance in USA or by the stinking NHS in UK

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star .

My cousin got her cosmetic surgery for tummy tuck and she is more than very happy with the results.SHe is all praise for this forerunners healthcare companyfor the services they provided her.She paid just 30% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her.Excellent stay, food, best surgeons-she just couldnt stop talking.hope this helps.
