I'd begin as usual with a cup of coffee and a long breakfast during which I'd read the newspaper. Then take a long walk. Talk to my neighbors and people I met along the way. Stop for lunch at a local cafe and shoot the breeze with friends and acquaintances. Then it would be home for a nap. After tea, I'd go into the workshop and work on a carving, or try to put together my latest HeathKit short-wave radio (or some other gadget), listen to some tapes, then get ready for dinner with some wine. After dinner, it would be time for some TV and games (like scrabble). Since I wouldn't have any emails to answer or places to surf online, I'd maybe go for a night swim, a moonlight walk, and just sit up talking most of the night. Hey, you know, it may be time to just throw out the computer, terminate my ISP, and start enjoying life away from the screen again.

Oh wow tough question cuz I have been doing computer related things since I was in Junior High School...thats like more than half my life. If there were no such things as computers, I would probably be an engineer of something else besides computer work. Maybe designing roller coasters or working for a bank and help with alarms and security.
Either that or I would just do something I havent done in more than 10 years and probably read a book lol I would read all the books in the library and probably end up married already with 10 kids because sometimes boredom makes us do crazy things.

Without the invention of the modern computer, I probably would not have the job I do now, due to me using a computer 8 hours a day. I honestly think I would get bored because when I have nothing to do and just sitting around, I like to get on the computer and play around. It would be really weird to not have a computer. It's just like what would people do if cellphones were never invented?

I think most people would be out of a job and doing more manual labor...there would be less identity theft, computer viruses wouldn't exist...it's hard to imagine a life without a computer...most people can't cope without one...it's an addiction...perhaps it would cause the end of the world if it was disinvented lol...maybe you'd see more kids outside playing rather then learning how to build a bomb or finding new ways to look at porn on the internet...more tradition would be brought back into our lives...in many ways it would be a good thing

I am 46. I first learned of computers in my late 20's early 30's. Life was filled with many attempts at writing a letter w/o any mistakes. What a pain in the neck. And the filing.....soooooooo much filing of papers. Computers, though I'm not great at them was a great tool for my business. Except when they crash. I also love the Fax machine invention. My father holds the Patent on the "send" button.Who knew he had it in him.

In a word, boring. Just think, work would be less productive, shopping wouldn't be as easy, communication would be a lot slower... Man is it a good thing we have computers! =D
