Get something close to you where you can walk or ride your bike. If you can't, try to get something at home.

Walk to K-Mart, McDonalds, Burger King, or Dairy Queen and work for a week, then buy a bus pass with your weeks wages and go downtown to your local temp services, or job banks and have them help you find a job on a bus route, ride the bus to work all summer and get your license. Then get a car. Good luck!

Hire a friend to drive you. Offer to fill the tank up. Or if you have a really good friend offer to pay for the gas at the going rate per mile. I think the current business deduction is 43 cents per mile.

That's just about the same as my predicament. I just have a job close by my house so that my parents can drive me or I can run to it. I make money and train for cross country, all at once!
