I have a problem keeping friends. I use to have a lot in poly, but now I can only call two people my friends, and they are of the best friends kind. And only one is from my poly.
Is there something wrong with me? Whenever I am lonely I will call them out, but most of the times, they are busy because one is working while the other is attached. Sometimes I just wander the malls by myself and its a lonely kind of feeling, I miss those large outings and gatherings.
I tried Irc and yahoo chat, but (pardon me) most seem to be looking for those sex than friends. Is there anyplace I can make more friends without meeting those people?

Fist make your self more available. Get a Hobie. Or rekindle an old one. Get out into the real world OFTEN. Meet people face to face. Think about it how many people do you chat with that live in your area? Not many... You have to make opportunities to meet people that have similar interests.
And that is not mentioning that You are already ahead of the curve. You do have two really good friends.. You just need to be more understanding of their lives, and their needs and wants.
Your lives will not always travel the same path. But hopefully they will travel side by side.

Sometimes it is better to just have a few really close friends than a bunch of friends. I know that with my 2 best friends, I can trust them no matter what.
I don't think there is something wrong with you. Check out Myspace, it is a great outlet for meeting people.

it's sooo normal that you have 2 best friends. i think it isn't good to have too many best friends. you can't spare your time for all of them. but if you want to have many friends, you could try penpalnet.com. or you'd better find real world activities that require u to meet many people with same interest. you'll easier to make a friend when you share same interest

why you want more friends you have two good friends is butter in you have a lot the trouble is you have to keep your self busy with some useful hobby or work or read books when your friend busy

That's normal. maybe you can join local clubs and find some new friends. i don't actually have a 'bestfriend', just a group of close friends who i go out with sometimes. and they are always busy too.
