PLEASE READ THIS!! First off...you need to make sure that the lines that you seen were not just evaporation lines. Evaporation lines are very common on the cheaper at home pregnancy tests. When you use an at home pregnancy test, the dye in the test is usually blue or pink. When you test and if two lines show up, BOTH lines need to be the same color as the dye in the test. Now, note that I said 'color' NOT 'shade'. For instance, if your test uses pink dye, then BOTH lines need to be pink, same thing for a blue dye test. If one line is a greyish color, or almost invisible, like a watermark, that is called an evaporation line and is NOT a positive test! Evaporation line are VERY common on the cheaper tests. Take a look at think link, it will explain more about evaporation lines......http://www.peeonastick.com/falsepos.html

After reading that link, I would suggest getting a name brand test, such as, EPT, First Response, or Fact Plus. I recommend First Response. If it shows up negative, wait 48 hours then retest. This is because a pregnant woman's HCG levels (the pregnancy hormone) doubles every 48 hours.

Good luck to you!!! :) :) :)

Call your doctor. It sounds like you are probably pregnant but have it double checked to be sure.

I am pregnant with my second and also used Dollar Tree tests. They showed up positive and when I went to my doctor to have a beta test done he also said it was positive. He wanted me to go back a couple days later for another beta and my levels had dropped and he said I had a miscarriage. When I went back a month later he said the lab made a mistake and that I am pregnant. Needless to say, in another month I will have a healthy baby boy.

In my experience taking a pregnancy test too early can lead to misleading results. Maybe take another test in a week and if it still says positive call your doctor!

Either way sounds like you are probably pregnant! Congratulations!
A happy and healthy nine months to you!

A dollar general pregnancy test confirmed my second pregnancy. :) Just to be sure, I waited a week and bought one of those ones with the digital read outs, and it was positive too.

It doesnt really matter how cheap the test. what matters if it's certified or not. pregnancy tests are made to detect the hcg hormone and if you have it in you, it'll show up. The only reason they're cheap is so that people who cant afford expensive tests have those ones.

All home prego test work the same. They detect hcg. That hormaon is only in your body during pregnancy. Plus do don't get fals positives only fals negitivs. Congrads! Call you doc. They will do another test in the office anyways.

Dollar General makes pregnancy tests? Wow, who knew (not me, obviously!)

I'd call your doctor. You're probably pregnant, but you should have it confirmed.

Well if you're absolutely certain they all showed positive then I guess there's a good chance you are. Perhaps you should try a better one to make sure or go to see your doctor.

Pregnant! If in doubt, go to the health dept. They will test you for free!
