The original Web was about information- webmasters transferring information from themselves to surfers. Now we're in Web 2.0, where users transfer information between each other- through blogs, wikis, Yahoo! Answers, instant messengers and VOIP. The next stage? Probably the world wide web won't make it to Web 3.0, just as telegraphs practically were lost when telephonbes were invented. I believe that, as the internet has been around for many years, we will find yet another way to communicate information. (Education might also be a major part.)
