I Cant Tell If My Ipod Shuffle Is On Or Not, It Doesn't Play Any Music Either. I Might Need To Call Costumer Ser. But I Wanted To Ask If Any One Knew What That Ment. I Thought I Had To Charge It Longer. Since I Dont Know When The Last Time It Was Charged. My Computer Is showing That My Shuffle Has Music On It But When I Eject It From My Computer I Never get A LIght Or Music. I Bout This From My Frined . He Does'nt Have A Computer And He Did'nt Know What To Do With It. ( hE gOT iT aS a gIFT.) DOES ANYONE KNOW WHATS GOING ON Here !!!!!!!

um, i have an mp3 player and a CD player, but if there is a lock (hold) button or switch, i'd recommend looking for it. just in case you didn't know, the hold button keeps it from playing or doing anything when it gets crammed into your pocket, bag, etc. but thats all i can say because i have an mp3 player and a CD player.

oh! maybe the volume is all the way down.

try plugging it into the wall and turning it on. i do that with my NDS when the battery is dead and it works. same thing with the lighter plug in my CD player.

You do need to let it charge for awhile by plugging it in to your computer (USB port). And there is a power switch on the back on the Shuffle that you need to turn on to use it.
If you have covered all those bases then give customer service a call.

buy an ipod nano.. shuffle is just a waste of good money

yeah switch the switch on ( the switch is on the back of the Ipod )
