downloading is more energy efficient because otherwise you'll have to go to the market personally and then buy a cd... if you go by a car then you burn gas... if by foot then you waste prsdonal energy... if you order online then logistic system will also spend huge amount of energy... so the best energy saving technique would be to downlaod music...

Downloading.
Think about the energy needed to manufacture the CD, the Case and printed material, the transportation of the CD to the store and your travel to get it.

Of course if you download the music and burn it to a CD then we need to start over.

Downloading music seems to waste energy less than buying CDs.
Coz you gotta work for the money to afford CDs.

Downloading is more efficient - unless you are talking about the electricity to download. But someone used it to produce the cd anyway.
