yes, when it comes to life and death situation.. just like dogs, they will struggle to live and swim

Some LOVE to swim, and others hate it. However, most rabbits don't really like water, and so, if you put them in water, they won't swim, they'll just thrash around, trying to get to dry land. Those that like water, if it's not too deep and not too shallow probably will swim though.
Be careful if you want to see if your rabbit can swim, though. I recommend having them wear a harness w/ a leash, so that you can easily get ahold of them.

Well I would imagine they can, hey if Bugs Bunny can swim across the ocean any rabbit can swim.

once in my camp at color war right before the water relay a Rabbit jumped in the pool!
I got it out!

Not unless they have to for an emergency. If they found themselves in deep water they would try to direct themselves to the edge but it would be a stretch to say they were swimming. They certainly don't swim by choice.

Yea, I threw my sister's pet rabbit in the swimming pool and it was able to swim.

Not only can they swim but they can dive as well.
They are used in the Philippines to collect oysters and in some parts of the USA as Lifeguards.

Erm....i don't know. Why don't you just throw one in the bath and wait and see. If it swims, then the answer is YES....if it sinks and drowns the answer is NO!

Yes however if you have one do not make it do it. It is very stressful and they only do it in an emergency.
