i have an '03 gmc and i put flow masters on it about a year ago and now my truck kills on my and it idels to low at red lights or stop signs which is usually when it killed but now it killes when i slow down. Is the problem my flow masters or is there something i need to change. i called the dealership and they told me i was nuts and my problem could never happen.

Its not the exaust, I own my own muffler shop and I stock Flowmaster exaust and I have never had a problem with that happening on any vehicle. It does not effect the computer at all. Check the fuel filter and the fuel pump.

i would have to say its not the exhaust but a simple computer update , a new chip and a performance check on the EGR valve or have you changed the fuel filter lately? sometimes its the easier stuff we miss, or a little tuffer the fuel pump getting ready to go out.

You need a performance chip in it. They cost 100 bucks and should come with a programmer.

Yeah, replace the chip. You have to remember that your exhaust changed the way the engine operates, so you have to update its programming so it runs right.

You dont need a chip....I am thinking more towards a vacuum leak!
