I am a taurus-gemini and am dating a scorpio who always wants their way. How can i make them see that in order for there to be true peace between us he has to compromise at times. I am the one who ends up always compromising. He holds grudges and i hate the silent treatment. There has to be some way for us to get it together.

Well ive learned throughout the years (being a scorpio) that I must force myself to compromise. Now, normally I am the one being walked all over but at the same time I do make mountains out of mole hills and tend to hold grudges. The best way to explain something to a scorpio (for them to get it) is to be as nice about it as possible and give them all the details of why it needs to be this way so there is nothing to misinterpret. And never act angry or like they are being dumb. Scorpios tend to read into everything so be tactful. As long as your tactful then it should work out fine. Dont leave anything about your intentions up for debate. Then its a matter of there maturity kicking in. If they are mature they will put themselves in your shoes and let you win now and again as long as they dont feel like youve insulted them. And if they arent mature then it has nothing to do with the sign, the sign will just make it worse lol. example- lets say you want to go out to a movie they dont like.........instead of saying you need to do what i want to sometimes..(which can sound like your angry).....you need to be like: I would really appreciate it if you came and saw this movie with me. I know its not your style but at least it gives us an opportunity to bond (always be positive).

When a Scorpio convinces themself that they are right there is little you can do to change their mind. Scorpios are notorious for holding grudges. We are a very intense sign. The best answer I can give you is just don't let him. Don't let him get away with it. A Scorpio will abuse what ever power you give him. And you are giving in to his bs because you want peace in your relationship, but honey if peace is what you what you won't get it with a Scorpio. But in the end a relationship is based on compromise trust, love, honesty, etc. If you don't find these things in this Scorpio or guy whatever set your sights on someone better.

IIMHO and 10 yrs. of relationship with 2 (both my hubbys) scorpios they generally don't compromise. Mine just says do it your way and I will give up what I want. I hate that. If it concerns the house or kids he will do whatever is necessary.

we usually r right bur in some weird case where he really is wrong u have to prove it I would not compromise if I thought I was right u have to let him know why u want him to do whatever it is that u want him to do..and u have to b detailed don't just say because it is fair tell him why u think it would b fair......GL

I don't think that it has anything to do with what sign you are. It has to do with the two people and what the disagreement is all about.
Compromising is being able for both parities being able to LISTEN to each other and find a common ground from there.
Communication is everything and neither one of you is willing to listen then you might want to move on.
