Go to beinggirl.co.uk. They have lots of advice about periods. When you buy tampons they have instructions in the box so you don't have to worry about noot knowing what to do. When you start you should just use pads for a while to get used to it and move onto tampons if you want.

It all depends on whether you prefer pads or tampons. There are brands out there that make a variety pack, so if you are unsure about what you want to use, buy a variety pack of each and try both to see which you like.

your period perhaps? Wear athick pad. They never fail me unless it's ending and you don't have alot wear a panty liner but if it seems like it stopped keep wearing the pad cause Aunt Flow is a *****, it will trick you

you could try panty liners if you think you gonna start but haven't. there not as think as pads but they will protect you from accidents. and then when it happens you can change into a pad or tampon what ever you choose.
