Tom Hanks.
Why? He's the nicest guy, he believes in his work, he's not a tabloid gabber-fest, he gives of his time and finances towards charities, and, he's been married to the same woman, an actress no less, for what... the last 20 years or so? That's unheard of in Tinseltown. I know that he's a critical darling.. but in the small minority of classy celebs... he's in a class all his own.

There are probably more classy celebrities than snobs. But, classy ones don't seem to be newsworthy. If we're considering all famous people, No. 1 right now would have to be Warren Buffett, (2nd most wealthy in the world), who is giving 85% of his fortune to charities.
Among celebrity entertainers I would say the best film star today, seems to have the most class. Hands down, nobody comes close to Tom Hanks. By all appearances, Mr. Hanks is humble, unassuming, generous, realistic, a good family man and one great actor.
