Document the incident, time, date location, and who said what to you about it all. hopefully you went to the ER as soon as possible get those records and then trot down to a lawyer. We are not slaves to the job. Ultimately it is the companies responsibility to fill their job.

And you allowed this kind of treatment?

So they didn't have anyone to cover for you...whoever was on the phone could have come in.

Why are you going to work at a long term care facility sick? Do you want the people there to be infected with what you had?

You'll need to check the employee's manual for an answer to your question. You weren't denied medical attention because you didn't seek any. You allowed your supervisor to control your better judgment.

First of all you should have known better than to stay at the facility ,no one in their right mind would have done that. Don't know if it will do any good but get you a lawyer

God, that's disgusting. Move to Canada where health care is free and employees have rights. America is a pisshole.

Depends where you live. In the UK that is completely illegal, and you could sue your employer for it.
